- Description :
- Chkconfig is a basic system utility. It updates and queries runlevel
- information for system services. Chkconfig manipulates the numerous
- symbolic links in /etc/rc.d, to relieve system administrators of some
- of the drudgery of manually editing the symbolic links.

- Update Information:
- This update fixes various bugs in chkconfig related to LSB
- init script support.
- Note that if you have the glibc update installed, you may
- need to run:
- rm -f /etc/rc*.d/*nscd
- chkconfig --add nscd
- to correctly set up nscd (which you can then enable/disable
- with chkconfig or ntsysv.)
- It also fixes ntsysv, which was broken in the previous update.
